I have lived in the Village of Holly since 1995 with my husband Bob and our 2 cats.  We chose Holly because of the proximity to Genesys Hospital and the freeways.  We like having the up north feeling with all the conveniences of city life (water and sewer).  I grew up in Westland MI and graduated from John Glenn High School in 1973.  After that I went on to Cleary College in Ypsilanti (now in Howell) and graduated in 1977 with a Bachelors Business Administration, Accounting Degree.  I have 30 years working in the accounting field, from an international corporation to a small non profit.

I was appointed to the Planning Commission in 2005 and served until my election to the Council in Sept 2007.  I am a volunteer with Christmas in Action, involved with the Chamber of Commerce, and attend the Reunion with a Cause each August.

I look forward to my term on the Council and hope to be able to help make Holly a place where businesses want to locate and people want to move.
